On May 3rd, Indiana residents will vote in the Democratic and Republican Primary and the general election will be held on November 8th. This year, the entire U.S. House of Representatives all 435 members - are up for re election.

To be eligible to register to vote in the primary and general election, you must:
· be a citizen of the United States,
· be at least 18 years old on November 8, 2016,
· have lived in your precinct for at least 30 days before the next general, municipal, or special election (except for certain military voters); and

Doing a Proper Pre-Trip Check on your Motorcycle

Before you put on your safety gear and get in the wind, you should perform a pre-trip safety check on your motorcycle. The Motorcycle Safety Foundation recommends performing an inspection using the T-CLOCS Inspection Checklist. T-CLOCS is an acronym for tires, controls, lights and electrics, oil and other fluids, the chassis and stands. Sturgis Motorcycle Crashes

As everyone knows by now, Sturgis is celebrating its 75th Anniversary.  Approximately a million riders are already at the largest motorcycle rally in the country.  Many of those motorcycle riders are from Illinois and Indiana.  Unfortunately, there has also been more crashes in the first couple days than there were all last year.  If you are headed to Sturgis or already there, enjoy the party, but remember to be safe.

Motorcycle Awareness Month

May is Motorcycle Awareness Month. As we wrap up the month, let's hope the slogan "Start Seeing Motorcycles" carries through the rest of the summer. Let's hope drivers see bikes and share the road with riders. However, Motorcycle Awareness Month is not just about other drivers seeing motorcycles. Both Illinois and Indiana riders can participate and do their part to stay safe.

April is Distracted Driving Month

We preach, "See the Bike, Save the Life!" but it’s pretty hard for drivers to see motorcycles if their eyes are glued to their cell phone or mirror or something else other than the road. April is distracted driving month and we need to bring the issue of distracted driving and the devastation it can cause to the public.
